Hmm.. It's been a while since I've seen the original eps (since they were
first sneak previewed), but I assume you're right.

Well, you can obtain DNA fragments from fossils by grinding them up and
applying the (Lesoy? Is that right?) technique. It's not enough to recreate
anything, even if you had the technology. However, it's possible that if the
bones were fresh enough (IE not fossilized) the computer scanners might be
able to reconstruct the whole genetic code. This lends further support to
the idea that this isn't Earth. And Power Surge seemed to indicate the land
masses were not Earth-like at any point in Earth's past.

1. Since Inferno is nowhere to be seen in "Possesion", I tend to think
that there should be a _canon_ order for the series, what is your opinion
on the order of the episodes?
2. How difficult would it be to recolor a character? (this could lead to
a ton of possibilites for a second season: Buzzsaw, Grimlock, Lazorbeak,
K-9, Wolfang, Thundercracker, Skywarp) (and based on "Dark Designs", I
wouldn't think it would be tough..)
3. If a Maximal Protoform turned Predacon is converted back to a Maximal,
does their personality change?
4. Why did Blackarachnia spare Cheetor in "Double Jepardy"?
Thank you once again!!!!
For that matter, why was she on the run? At the end of the episode
Megatron was complaining about "a missing Black Arachnia." But
in the next episodes, (A Better Mousetrap, Gorilla Warfare, and
The Probe.) Was this some subplot that was dropped?
-D, hoping that the TV will be available for Other Voices. . .
However to set the record straight, there are no DINOSAURS ON THE BW
planet other than the BW's themselves. Each dinosaur form was taken from
the DNA of fossilized remains... Now the trick question is "How old are
these remains?"...
NOW onto Neldaar's questions;
1) A canon order for the episodes. IN general, the episodes do follow one
another in the order aired. BUT, there were some episodes switches,
especially "Dark Voyage" which originally was an early episode (12) then
was swicthed to 20.
By the same token, there were episodes in which a character was introduced
(specifically Inferno) in a previous epsiode and then does not show up in
later episodes. This too was because a few episodes were moved around and
also because in some cases episodes were written well in advance of the
introduced character and thus the writer had no idea the character even
existed. In one or two cases we covered this with lines, but with Inferno
we just decided to assume he wasn;t there at the time of the episode's
action. He was probably off flaming little animals or something.
2) It's not difficult to recolor a character but I doubt we would ever
consider that.
Blackarachnia as a toy is a recolor but as a character she looks different
from Tarantulas.
3) IF a Maximal protoform turned into a Predacon is later reverted to
maximal, yes the personality would change. I stress this is almost in the
realm of the impossible, since the Predacon's like to insert a fail safe
in such programming which destroys the robot if it reverts. It could be
done by a very skilled techno with access to lots of equipment...
4) Why did Blackarachnia spare Cheetor in "Double Jeopardy"? I don't
know, I didn';t write it... But as I recall she had no time to mess
around with Cheetor as she was somewhat on the run...
Hope that helps.
