For all those of you who are wondering if there is such a thing as
an uncut version of the transformers movie, let me just tell you
this...ok..My roommate apparently posted an article a few days ago? and
it described some of the things that are cut from it, and he propably
told everyone that it was not subtitled...well all that is true, and a
master reel DOES exist and if nobody believes it that's unfortunate. We
both have stumbled across what everyone no doubt wants. The uncut movie
contains some horrifying death scenes, an extremely long fight sequence
between prime and megatron, other autobots dying, and autobots that are
mentioned in the credits of the movie are all there( if everyone checks
the voice credits, you'll notice there are more than what's in the movie.
I have just recently discovered this reel-it's a 35 mm stock, its
about 15-20 minutes longer, and the only problem is to get a transfer
since it is copywritten. Some of my friends have watched it and they
shuttered....some of the highlights included- an autobot's knee getting
shot off and subsequently his body by a passing decepticon jet...ironhide
getting it even worse than he did....starscream' leg getting shot
off...skywarp laughing hysterically as he's blasting an autobot to
pieces, and other stuff like that...Keep in mind please that i am not
making this up and that this topic of a master reel has been dealt with,
and i'll keep everyone posted-only thing left now is to get it, and we're
trying to get the money situation sorted...looks like for a transfer
we're dealing with 250 canadian per hour.
That's all for now , if anyone has questions please e-mail me.
Thanks for having the patience to read this....i will not rest until
i have this version on tape, then we can all be happy.

I think you might have overdone it there. If his leg gets shot off, how
does he get it back on? I distinctly remember TWO legs left crumbling
as Galvatron shattered him...

Wojtek just meant foot...its a typo.....the american version cut out the
part where he actual shot his foot off on screen....

Please forgive me for being skeptical. You have a find as great as
someone finding the Takara Unicron prototype. When you finally get this
movie on tape, post some stills at A.T.T. of the scnes you mention, either
in GIF or Jpeg format so most users can see for themselves. This would be
the outstanding proof for your oustanding claims. Until then, be prepared
for the unbelief that will follow from others.

In article <312E39...@sdrc.com>,

Well, in the version of the movie I have, Starscream shoots his own foot off
to escape the closing doors of Autobot city as it undergoes its transformation.

And yes, when he gets so brutally destroyed, he does have two legs, and even
has two proper feet.

Oh well.

Even though these arguements are petty. Starcream had his foot shot off
thats a fact.....but in the uncut version the cantact is actual shown and
the damage more focused on. Also keep in mind that later on in the movie
any damage starscream or anyone took could and would've been repaired.
People who break their legs don't walk around limping forever. Thats all
a foot injury would be to starscream.

If any one of you has any disbelief well keep on going we don't care and
this version has existed in Japan for 10 years and will always exist. We
have found a rare copy and plan to enjoy it. Its for our enjoyment not
everyone elses. You guy don't have to care or believe....its our find and
could be yours too. Who wouldn't want to see Sunstreaker die or Prowl
have a fist rammed through his chest or Prime has Megatron's thumb pushed
through his eyes. Well i would love to see it and i'm not skeptical
because its within my grasp and We Won't Show Screen Clips in JPG or GIf

Right now I don't have better things to do with my time:

No .gif or .jpg previews of the Uncut Movie? Well, OK, the scenes must be
so gorry that you don't want to corrupt the youngsters who read
a.t.tf. Or are they THAT cool, that any scenes which might justify
you claims would ruin the rest of the movie...wow, you're a generous fellow!
Oh, how much are you charging for your as-of-yet available dubs?

Starscram shoots himself in the foot and howls a lot about it, but when
he leaves teh space between the closing doors, he has both feet, tho
there is some damage on one of his legs. He also has two perfectly
intact legs as he calls the retreat from Autbot City -- there is a full
shot of him that shows this.

: And yes, when he gets so brutally destroyed, he does have two legs, and even

Yep. I could chalk that up to repairs if he hadn't looked fine in both of
the earlier scenes.

: Oh well.

You said it. :)

Now not showing clips sounds like a fraud in the making. It's going to be
very difficult to get people to buy if you promote skepticism with
actions like that.
It would be worth the money you'd make to put the stuff on the
net for others to see.

He's faking it, guys. No self-respecting Transfan who really had such a

The eye thing is just a thing that doesn't make sense but trust me it
happens and miraculously its fine at the end. I mean did you really think
that Megatron could have taken that much damage from just one punch and a

This is getting tiring... I remember when I could trust about everyone
here...
I would be about the first to be skeptical, not to mention jealous, at
such a find never before suspected after 10 years of serious collecting.
But I agree about innocent before proven guilty. If 20 year old missing
Doctor Who episodes can keep turning up, this is certainly not impossible.
I know if I had such a find in my hands, I wouln't be in any immediate
position to provide proof, without a camcorder, video input card, or video
transfer equipment. While I admit the 'new' scene descriptions are
somewhat lacking, if I had it,that would be the ONLY part of the desc.
that I could improve upon. So how many of the rest here are equipped with
portable video studios?

Megatron never poked Op in th' eyeball. However, the poor sap is missing
an eye and half his face--not to mention a friggin' arm--in "Dark

in "The Return of Optimus Prime" when Jesse finds him. Explain, PLEASE???

Then vote. I never miss an election. But let's face it, if we don't have
things like Transformers fandom to keep us entertained, we'd all go nutsy-

HERE IS THE REAL STORY OF HOW THIS CAME TO BE...

While buying several old film stock from a retired camera man, Producer
John Doe, after almost decideing that the films were not what he needed
was presented with a special offer. The old man dusted a film reel he
kept in a card board box in his closet. It was claimed to be actual
footage of an alien war involving 2 factions a race of robotic lifeforms.
These alines could seemingly transfrom into what the old man said as cars
and things. The man would not give his full name, only the code name
Sparkplug. He claims there was a remote city that the one faction known
as the Autobots had set up secretly, and it could also transform as well.
They were a peacefull race that were sent here to protect the world from
the evil faction known as the decepticons. These fought a destructive
battle where the city was levled. The 2 armise flead for their home
planet, known as Cybertron, in a even bigger battle with a creature named
Unicron. This creature was the size of a planet, and devoured all others
in his path. He, like the other Transformers, as they are called could
also transform.

The startling footage has been viewed and researched by many top
Transformer Experts. Several have tried to find the location of this
ruined city by viewing the landmarks seen in the footage, and ruins have
been found, with no proof that there was any alien beings battleing there.
Or was there....

Special US military trucks were witnessed leaving a remote mountanous
area, in a large convoy. There are rumored reports of eye witnesses
actually saw alien robot bodies. Though they would not be shown on
camera or audio taped e mails were send from several sources "They were
metal, coroded, and many were in pieces." "made of highly intricate
circutry."

The government claimed to have no knowledge of any recovered alien bodies
or technology.....

Failed? Not really.. I count 20 messages on this thread, 24 in another

//In the defense of this uncut version. I must say that I noticed
quite a leap between two consecutive shots of megatron. When
megatron is down and begging for mercy (and reaching for a gun) he
really doesn't look that beat up, but after shooting Prime and
getting up (and says "It's over Prime.") he is full of cracks and
bruises. This leads me to believe that something did happen
between these two shots.//

I agree, the sudden 'death's door' Megatron in that great closeup looks
nothing like the minor damage he'd taken in the previous scene. That has
always bothered me as a minor animation point.

If you have a Betamax (yeah, right) or an 8mm player version of TFTM,
you can pause it when Starscream flies off. If you DID pause it, you
would notice that his foot is VERY much intact and the damage is on his
side shin. It appears to be nothing more than a deep wound.

Incosisencies in cartoons run rampant.on minute an insecticon get
changed in a sweep or cyclonus, the next he's on junkeon fighting spikes
kid(remember?-"human germ..."). and how many cyclonuses did unicron make?
at least two that i couted. By the way since i know the process that a
movie of this sort goes through, there most likely was at least two
studios working on the movie at once, so stuff like this is likely to
happen. Besides, many scenes are cut , reused,or rushed through, or
dropped.....think about it....

Alright already! This thread has caused more problems than astro-ants
at a picnic. People are wondering whether or nor to believe in the
rumors of a TF fan's Holy Grail, namely the uncut movie.

Lets apply a little of Pascal's thinking to this shall we? If I were
to bet that the uncut movie exists or not I'd bet that it does. Why?
Because if I bet on its existence and lose, I'll have lost nothing. But
if I'm right I win one of the most treasured possesions a fan could
have.

Lets look at the flip side. If I bet that the uncut version doesn't
exist and I win, I get nothing. If I'm wrong them I have lost the
chance to obtain the video because I have offended the owner by calling
him/her a liar. As we've already seen this happen, I wonder if our
chances of getting a copy of the video are blown.

I vote for optoin one. Any gambler knows that the outcome is better.
So anyone who says that he/she has such a video you've got me behind
you. When and if this person decides to distribute copies, I'm sure the
proof that was demanded by all will be provided.

See, a little civilized logic can overcome a little name calling any
day.

Actually, it was Scavenger whi said that. I'm postive of this since he &
ratchet share a vioce, and cos there was no echo, which Shrapnel had.
Also, there's another error here - Shrapnel's legs are grey when they
should be black (that one error has always bugged me)
