OK, in an attempt to satisfy all... :-)

How about we give a try to establish a "for-real" (ie non-alt) newsgroup
for toys in general, but specifically LEGOs?

How about: rec.toys.construction.lego ???

Which could lead to (eventually) such newsgroups as:

rec.toys.construction.erector and rec.toys.construction.misc, etc.

By trying for the creation (granted, an uphill battle) of the rec.toys
hierarchy we can get a wider spread of the Tao of LEGO :-)

Seriously, it -would- allow access to alot more sites.

Regards,

Yes, most definitely "a good thing" (tm).

[eventually]
: rec.toys.construction.erector and rec.toys.construction.misc, etc.
ok, probably a good idea to have rec.toys.construction.misc created at the
same time, to prevent a flamewar.... and let us say "well, if the volumes
in the misc, create your own group". I think perhaps even leaving out
construction, as they lets the `high-tech' group shift, and prevents
a needless extra branch in the hierarchy (how many people think there's
ever going to be more than about two or three groups off of construction?)
