Really? I know some are going to hate me for this but these things are hideous. Really. From afar they look good but up close and personal they fail in every way. The costumes look like what you see on dollar store toys. The accessories are ok at best and the figures are cheap, frail and have many problems. They are a good 15.00 set but not 40.00.

I have to question the mind behind this revival. Why? Playing Mantis' product was 10 if not 15 times better than this. They sold at a time where there was a boom and they FAILED! I still have my Kid Action Speed Racer Order Sheet.

The other questions I have are why would you A. Bring back a product that failed twice before (Yes Ideal's failed as 3 years does not make a success in the toy industry) B. Make this product when the Model Kit that this company released Failed. C. Only caters to a small group of collectors.

I scratch my head at this. This company would have been better off selling Military accessories for 12 inch figures. Again I say (as I always do when I see a bad product) I wish I had the money these people waste.

I wish the company luck since I know that the person behind it has a true love for this but I will specualte that this line will not get to the point of collectors being able to put together a full Hawkeye set from the deluxe packages. It won't happen..

Ive also noticed in other forums that collectors are really not liking it and hear the rattling of "I hope they fix the problems"" etc etc..hey lets not let this company waste more money trying to fix problems from a line they will never possibly recover. At least let them sell out remaining invenotry and call it a day..

Wanna buy great Captain Action Stuff? Buy some of the original stuff or buy a bunch of well made reissues by Playing Mantis..

I am usually never this harsh when it comes to any toy line but I loved this line as a kid and I hate to see it end up like this...

Not gopnna hate on ya; I respect your opinion, b ut disagree. I have
the deluxe figure set, and I really like it. Ican't commen t on the
uni sets, though, 'cause superhero unis don't interst me. However, i'
eyeballing that Rocketeer set, for kitbash potential, and hope to snag
any other figures they release. ( Dr Evil, Action Boy, Lady Action,
etc.)

I also like the "neo-cappy". I bought the deluxe figure set from Stewart's Attic, especially because he lives pretty close to me, but I haven't bought any of the uni sets, because superheroes don't interest me, much. I told Scott that if he gets in another order of Dr. evils, I want one of those, as well. I also want Kid Action, or whatever he's called, and Lady Action, when they be one available, and yes, I want the deluxe versions of both!

My Captain Action and Dr Evil (by Round Two) are standing on a shelf in my bedroom and I consider them worthy additions to my collection. But I'm an adult and I don't play them so they haven't broken.

I like them.
