Hi all!

Three thoughts leapt to mind when I read this.

1) They'll cast Dwayne Johnson as Sgt. Rock ("Who better to play Sgt.
Rock than 'The Rock?'").

2) When the film bombs, they'll blame the failure on the source
material instead of their changes ("The market for comic book-based
movies has been oversaturated").

3) DC Comics will prostitute Sgt. Rock by releasing a comic where Sgt.
Rock is transported from WWII to the future ("The classic character
goes in a bold new direction!").

Oh please! What are those Holly-woodenheads smoking these days?!?

Did somebody mix up Buck Rogers with Sgt. Rock??? If you take the
"Ro" from Rogers and "ck" from Buck, you get Rock.

I'll wait for the DVD in the bargain bin, and probably then just use
it as a coaster.
