Please help with custom Adventure Team Schwimm...

First off, thanks to all in the 'Box for the heads-up on the $14.99
Schwimms at KB online!! Now that mine is hear, I will turn it into an AT
vehicle (got the idea from pix from another Sandboxer awhile back).
However, I thought I might try to get some ideas from my buddies in the
'Box for a paint scheme. I am currently thinking of one of the following
(but having trouble deciding):

1. Classic AT Yellow (flat though), with Black highlights (roll-bars,
etc.).
2. O.D. or "military" green (flat), with black highlights

What do you think? Oh, I am going to buy some AT stickers from Cots to
finish off the piece. Which do you recommend, or do you have an alternate?
I am certain that I do not want it camoed at all.

I suggest you paint it up like a Hippy Love VW Van. Put those pastel
flowers and peace signs all over it. "Make Love Not War" slogan. Perhaps a
Mary Jane Leaf here and there promoting mental expansion and
environmentalism, and naturalism. Add a few beads dangling from the rails
and a fuzzy die in the window...don't forget the bobbing dog head in the
back and a plastic Jesus on the dashboard.

That's going to be a masking job fromhell though. I think a
Classic AT yellow, with a gloss EMRON style hinish, and
flat black trim, but with straight aluminum rims, might be
the way to go. Black Volkswagen style seats and
instrumentation as well, and maybe aperforated heat shield
over the Muffler, and a chromed outboard prop. Plus hang
all sorts of stuff from the various AT set 9like a folded
ent or rolled up sleepingbag, would adda lot to the look.

If Not yellow, then EMRON red?

DDAY PARA did a Schwimmer up for me. Not AT but still awesome. Give him a
hollar, he could probably help you with ideas.

I'm so fired up to see other folks doing schwimms in AT stlye. I bought
mine with the same intentions. I would love to share photos with anyone
who completes one. Good luck to all who try.

Somebody needs to do an embroidered patch the same size as a Schwimmy
wheel so we can use it to make AT spare tire covers out of.
Just a thought.
