Dragon can get away with some rehash kits, but this guy is definately
suffering from "I could make this guy 10 times with spare parts from my bin"

I don't know about that take a real close look at the blouse,
it's got a cammo print in it. I've never seen that before.

I don't think that it's camo print...check out the background...I think they
pasted the background pic OVER the figure's pic...look close at the
forestock of the CAR-15...same effect. I'd be willing to bet those are
plain black BDU's, with Leo's doo-rag.....

I will agree it's going to be a lot of rehash, but so is the Kevin
Anderson figure. And I gotta believe with as many krauts as they have
made that some of those were mostly rehash, also. I don't expect a
lot of "new" stuff, really. Heck, as someone in the group pointed out
earlier, take a look at any given army. There is a *lot* of rehash
there. :-) I am most interested in seeing how they actually rehash
the sets. I would also like to see Dragon give us uniform and
equipment sets similar to their 1:35 scale stuff.

Karl:
Like how many more MP 5 sets do we need? :)
I'd favour the G-3 set and I've been bugging Dragon to produce other weapons sets in 1/35 like UZIs, Galils,
FN/FNCs, Sterlings and variants, the vz61 (the precursor to the UZI) and other Czech pistol submachine guns,
Syter Aug and variants, Carl Gustav and variants. :)
Hopefully once Jakks makes up its mind, 21st century will also take the hint and wow us with their weapons
sets.

Well let me 'laborate a bit on my comment:
There are different levels of ReHash. 21st Century putting out 5 almost
identical WW2 Airborne guys?? Thats serious rehash.

The most recent group of modern Rangers from Dragon? Total Rehash..
I mean, its the same set with a different weapon and screw-on helmet
apparatus.

But....Sigfried and Pieter, the two fallschirmjagers...both equally unique
in terms of items
and color (yes, som eof which is rehashed) that they are similar yet
different.

Dragon goes through waves.....remember when it was Hans (amazing), Klaus
(eh, same
only with different weapon), then the Police guy with the roadsign..(eh,
their lamest German
to date?).....it was like "ok, we need something new".

Its like for every new figure dragon produces, it produces 2 more that are
kitbashes of existing
items, only with a new gun, or a new accessory. Which is cool...but.....at
first glance I
thought the Phoenix guy and the Sog guy were the exact same figure only in
black BDU's..
and THAT is a bad thing.

If ya look real close you can see that the camo pattern is the
background laid over the blouse, look at the fore grip on the rifle.
And I just gotta say, that is gotta be the fugliest head sculpt I have
seen from them yet.
