I just got the GI Joe Britt.Royal Marine Commando Figure $19.99 @ TARGET is St.
Pete. Florida. He is a piece of art, good going Hasbro Team. He's Super
Articulated w/excellent headsulpt, similar to the 21st C Britt. Paratrooper.
here's the gear he comes with:
Mk. II Helmet (Tommy style)
Green Beret (molded like the Ranger SAW Gunner's)
Denison Smock (all pockets w/snaps, has crotch sling) Bright Color's
Black Boots w/Anklets (molded, nice detail) best yet
Bren Mark I MG (Shweeeeet) Nicest version I've ever seen in 1/6th scale, plenty
of moving parts. In fact everything moves and you can take the barrel off. has
Bipod legs and standard elastic sling.
Colt .45 pistol
Tan canvas Holster (Britt. style)
2 .45 ammo pouches (shoulda had Bren Mag pouches)
We Belt (plastic Tan w/sliders and buckle)
Brown pants w/pockets
Sticker Label of the 48th Royal Marine Commando unit and insignia
Knife with Sheath (Plastic molded Sheath and Daggar style Commando Knife)
I highly recommend this Boxed figure, alas there was only one on the shelf.
First come first serve. I saw Ernie Pyle, but resisted the urge. He looks Great
also. The D-Day Inf. figures are nothing to speacial, rehash of other companies
doings.

I also picked one up here in NY today

opened the box yet (Dragon & BBI also doing one) I have to agree

looks like the art on the box for the 21st Brit Para
more than the 21st C headsculpt did
had to pick it up based on it alone

same here

I picked mine up last nite for 19.96 at Wal mart. It was a toss up
betwxt him and Pyle. I especially dug the pistol with working slide.
This figure is well worth the price of admission.

Where has this figure been showing up? I have read Target, Walmart and TRU.
Is that
right? Anyone seen them in Ohio?

It's been showing up at all California Targets and Walmarts, also the Omaha
beach and Ernie Pyle figure, they seem to be selling very fast ! I went to my
local TARGET last night and they only had one new figure left on the shelf !
one Omaha Beach infantry, these are the coolest $19.99 priced figures Ive seen
in a long time.

I picked up the Royal Marine Commando, Omaha Beach Army Infantry, and
Ernie Pyle at Target on Beechmont Ave. in Cincinnati Ohio. All $20
each.

They are boxed one Ernie Pyle, one Royal Marine Commando and two Omaha Beach
Infantry. If someone buys one of each it doesn't leave much.
Must be three different assortments because of the combinations of the three
U.S. units represented.

I picked all three of them up at a Target in Aberdeen, MD.
Great figures for $20 each.

This is where Hasbro went cheesy. Why couldn't they just create a mold for the
proper gear? Kinda disappointing.

>Sticker Label of the 48th Royal Marine Commando unit and insignia

This is something most of us have wanted from the manufacturers for some time
now. Hopefully it catches on. Now, if they do a Brit basic rifleman, they could
improve on it by giving several unit patches as choices. That would be cool.
Gotta fix the ammo pouches though.

>He is a piece of art, good going Hasbro Team.

Overall, I'd have to agree.

Hasbro gave a sticker sheet with their Navy crash crew figure {Various CVN#'s,
CVN, 71, 72, 76 etc.}, a great offering IMHO. There's no good reason they can't
do this with other figures, it's a great idea that doesn't cost all that much
to include with their figures but is a great extra to play around with or trade
some off to get duplicate stickers to build a unit.

Didn't realize that. I didn't get that figure. I wonder why they didn't do the
same for the Omaha Beach figs?
