If someone were to make repro visors to fit vintage helmets,is there a
market?Just how big?How much would you pay?Painted or
unpainted?Also,they could be tinted,(yellow?,smoke?)for customizing,but
I think clear would be the most popular. Thanks for the read.

A gold plated visor would be nice for a space walking Joe.

Personally I haven't had much problem picking up vintage
astro helmets with visors.
I've added three to my collection in the last quarter.

How about something new?
Like a Shuttle flight crew helmet.
The ones from the mid to late 80s were a clam shell affair
with the seam running up along the ears and hinged at the top.
There were fasteners down along the neck to hold the halves
together. I haven't researched to see if they still use that style.
The things appear almost perfectly spherical with a very dark faceplate.
The Challenger crew photos show a red and blue stripe around the
neckline, and an American flag on top of the helmet.

I would pay $10 they would sell more at that price also you might want to make the helmet Mic& cord unit that plugs into the chest pack and capsule those are always missing you could charge $5 ea.

I would be interested in samples a few clear and yellow as I would buy them off of you I am really into Gijoe astronauts and buy them often.
