eBay shooting itself in the foot yet again

Boy....things really keep going off the rails over at eBay...The
seller performance ratings are really going to hammer everyone.
Currently I am a Top Rated Seller but it looks like those days are
numbered. They keep believing they are losing money due to frustrated
buyers but they are really losing money because nobody wants to sell
on the site with their Nazi mentalilty, High fees etc. I am glad I am
not buying and selling Joes anymore.
Now you have to have a 14 day return policy in order to qualify for
Top Rated status. Which basically means the asshole collector has more
time to play with the toy and break it or look through his collection
more carefully to see which piece he wants to upgrade. I fucking hate
this company...really..I wish it would just die already..
Thats not all..you also have to have a one day handling..which means
once you get paid you have to ship it the next day..Now this isn't too
bad if you live in your mom's basement and have no life. I mean all
you would have to do then is jackoff in the morning throw the stuff in
a box and head to the post office but it also gives the buyer a great
opportunity to do a chargeback once you have shipped the item..
Stringent Policies like these only really lead me to believe that I
actually may get my wish and see the downfall of eBay. Collectors in
our age bracket have either left the hobby like me or have pretty much
of what they want already. Toy collectors in general will soon become
a thing of the past as video games dominate the youth of today more
than toys. My son is 14 and him and most likely his friends will never
be toy collectors.
I see eBay changing dramatically in the next 20 years..eBay was big
when there was nothing else to do online except email, chat and play
slingo..Now with the advent of social networking less and less money
is being spent on eBay...
There are also alot of other auctions sites that are killing them..not
collectible sites but electronics...
With all that is said I guess Ill just say goodbye to you now eBay...
