As most of you know, I moved to Arkansas in 2005 to become curator of
a submarine museum (
www.aimm.museum, if you're interested). I've been
gradualy thinning my collection, and some of you have benefited from
that (and more will in the future). In addition to the items I've
sold or traded via the 'Box, I've been selling a few things in the
museum store. Mostly, I've been selling my "New in Box" stuff, since
that seems to be more appealing to most of my visitors. However, I
finally ran out of NIB stuff, and put four loose kitbashed figures on
the shelf.
Someone scooped up all four on Saturday!
Needless to say, I was thrilled when I found out. My director was
happy, since the sale is effectively 100% profit for the museum. My
wife is happy, since that's four more Joes out of my collection. I'm
happy because my wife and my director are both happy.
