I bought one of the Defense Courier; this store only had the new Asian
and Hispanic head sculpts for this figure - I picked up the Hispanic,
since I don't have an example of that one yet.
The Defense Courier is of the molded-shirt variety which appears to
have become mandatory on the low end figures; specifically, he's
dressed in black boots, woodland camo pants, and the torso is the
molded flack jacket (black). Upper arms are molded with a woodland
camo shirt; lower arms are bare. The figure wears the new 8-point
USMC style fatigue cap, first seen with the USMC Marksman figure, in
the tan/black/green camo.
Regarding accessories, the figure carries a large aluminum finish
briefcase, with a "Defense Courier Service" logo decaled on the front.
I am almost certain the case is an Action Man item - I haven't had a
chance to dig through my bins to match it, but it looks very familiar.
A set of the standard hand cuffs issued with the law enforcement
figures is included (plastic cuffs w/chain connector); on the back of
the blister package the figure has the briefcase handcuffed to his
wrist. The figure also wears a standard green utility belt, with a
drop-down black holster attached, and carries the basic Beretta
sidearm. One minor, interesting note - the pistol has the red dot
that the real item displays when off safety; I'm not sure I've seen
this before on the Hasbro basic pistol, or maybe I just have missed
it. Finally, a cell phone and a set of "top secret" papers, also with
the DCS logo, are included.
Also in the set is a "Mission Card" which describes the function of
the Defense Courier.
I only inspected the Desert Grenadier on the rack, and was
disappointed. Also molded torso (this time the torso is the
grenadier's vest, with the pockets for the 40mm rounds), 3-color
Desert camo pants, upper arms (molded) and helmet, and desert boots.
He carries a basic M-16/M203, apparently with little functionality,
and I believe an extra round or two for the GL was included.
(Also, on an unrelated note, the Weapon Tech M1 and F2000 FINALLY made
it to Kansas City - I found one set of each at the TRU at the Great
Mall of the Plains. I had just about given up on ever seeing these.
I was pleased to see that you can actually assemble 2 complete weapons
from the F2000 set - if I can find one or two more packages, these are
going to become my standard AT weapon. Also, I saw something there I
hadn't before - the G36 Weapon Tech set, with the receiver, handle,
foregrip and other parts in Arctic, white finish, as well as the
standard black. Anybody else seen these?)

I have several in black from those carded weapons sets. Make perfect spy
briefcases.

National Guardsman: Looks kinda like the old woodland SAW gunner with the
camo'ed face, but instead comes with a different light machine gun...I think
it's a Belgian FN model?

Sean, you're absolutely right, man. Good eye. It's the briefcase
from the Weapon Tech MP5 SMG set; it's even got the "trigger" under
the briefcase handle, and the hole in the side where the rounds are
supposed to exit when it's being fired from inside the case. I knew I
had seen it before!

I saw a picture of this figure on eBay, and the trigger and handle shape
made it obvious to me.
I really like that briefcase. Very James Bond.
