WEBGIS Version 3.0 allows you publish GIS projects and
intelligent maps on web pages. The thin client (less than 34 kb) can display
projects with both raster and vector maps, unlimited map layers that can be
dynamically generated by ASP/CGI scripts extracting data from databases, and
hyperlinks to other GIS projects or web pages. The Java applet supports all
kinds of objects: polylines, polygons, texts, images, map bar charts, etc in any
mixed coordinate systems of screen pixels, longitude/latitude and
UTM.
It also supports API functions to allow Java/VB scripts to
control the applet such as open files, repaint, draw traces, switch on/off map
layers, dynamic ranges and locations etc.
Its instant conversion of coordinates: pixels,
longitude/latitude, UTM and NAC and computation of geomagnetic declination,
inclination and intensity adds great convenience to the maps it
displays for various users.
