are the ten planets
and their twelve signs on
the caelestial zodiac.
These are the ten objective
consciousnesses and
twelve objective forces on
the celestial sphere.
The precise relationship of
major arcana to the
ten planets and twelve celestial
signs are thus:

The fifty-six minor arcana
are the same planets
in the terrestrial meridian
houses of the earth,
the twelve courts of cardinal,
fixed, & mutable
comprising the four elements
as numbered by the
aforesaid planets--the Gods--
who do exert their
rule to the Earth hence
numbering the houses
of the horoscope. This is how
the ten planets find
correspondence in the minor arcana;
e.g., Venus in the second
house is the same as Venus in the
court of the queen of
pentacles. Venus is third among the
sidereal heavens,
thus Venus is three
of pentacles under the fixed
court of pentacles,
i.e. relative to the fixed
quality of pentacles,
but not the cardinal or mutable
qualities. See?
