Death of DE Lizard Owner a Mystery; Reptiles Fed on Body

Newark, Delaware - 2/6/2002
An autopsy failed to determine the cause of death of a man whose pet
lizards were found feasting on his body.
Ronald Huff, 42, was found dead January 16th in his Newark apartment.
Officers found his body on the floor, where his pet Nile Monitor
lizards were feeding on the flesh around his head and neck.
Allison Taylor Levine, a spokeswoman for the Division of Health and
Social Services, said inconclusive autopsy results are rare, but not
uncommon.
"It does happen occasionally, especially in a case like this where the
body was fairly decomposed," Levine said.
Huff, who owned seven lizards, told co-workers a few days before he
was found dead that he wasn't feeling well and that one of the lizards
had bitten him, officials said.

Now, who supposedly found him like that? The cops, right? Do
you believe everything the cops tell you? This might be a case of
police abuse, who knows? Maybe the lizards were innocent.

Don't be sorry about anything. You should know by now I was only
stirring the pot. (not smoking it) I can relate to the stress. There
is only one person without stress in this group, the kid that still
