If you list several newsgroups (separated by a comma and a space) in the
'Newsgroups' or 'To' field, that should cross-post.

Hopefully, this followup should appear in alt.windows-xp AND in
alt.test.fest. If I read it in one of those newsgroups, it will no
longer appear as 'unread' in the other newsgroup. Let's see what
happens!

Yes, it worked as I expected. My followup appeared as unread in both
newsgroups. When I read it in alt.test.fest, it also changed to 'read'
in alt.windows-xp. Try a followup up of your own, and it should do the
same for you.
