The muscular she-male ugly sisters
have it made. Everyone is afraid of them
and not only that, even if they were not afraid,
they would still lose because most of the girls
have no chance in HELL of winning because they're
just too damn petite!
The only positive thing I see is that the sisters
are not superstars. They make a lot of errors.
They only win with power.
Even if Mauresmo was no.1, I'd still say that
the WTA should make new rules so that
all the girls with weak serves have a chance at
a slam title.
But the old farts love their old tennis ways and
they're losing fans on the women's side.
Here's some ideas:
Coaches on the court.
Smaller serving box.
One serve.
Wood rackets.
Steroid testing.
Video replay in the umpire's chair for 100%
fair results.

Depressing, sigh.
I miss the Hingis days.
Everyone had a shot.
No more.

Well, as a male player, though past competition, I enjoy watching women's
tennis, but not on television. It is amazing how much the camera "slows
up" shots (because of foreshortening the court). In real life the women
are hitting the ball amazingly hard, though not as hard as the men.
I very much enjoyed a match between Meaghan Shaughnessy and Elena (?)
Bovina during the week.
But a lot of the women put so much of their body into each shot that they
might be hard put to play five-setters!
By the way, Serena Williams answers a question asked a few years ago - can
a woman with big breasts be a top player?
