Via Sinistrae - Trance & Transformation Public Invocation Ritual in Sacred Shamanic Sex

The new non-profit Tequihua Foundation hosts its first public shamanic
ritual in Southern California on August 5, 2005. The ritual, Via
Sinistrae, uses the ambient electronic music of Trip Tech and speech by
Central Shamam Koyote to activate and transform the awareness of
participants.

The creative force known as Kundalini in the East can induce higher
states of consciouness when properly stimulated. Via Sinistrae may well
be the only ritual available to the Southern California public that
works intentionally with the creative force.

The Tequihua Foundaion, a 501 (c)(4) educational non-profit, offers Via
Sinistrae as part of its special mission: to revitalize inidenous
Toltec culture, not by preserving its external forms, but by invoking
in contemporary participants the same feelings and atmosphere produced
by the ancient ceremonies. "To do that, we use modern forms and
technologies," explaines Shaman Koyote. "Very few do what we are
doing."

Koyote, originally from El Salvador, received transmission of the
Toltec lineage from a distinguished Shaman in Mexico. In addition to
possessing Shamanic knowledge, Koyote is an experienced practitioner of
both the Western esoteric tradition and the "fourth way" schools
derived from the Russian mystic Gurdjieff. Trip Tech member and Toltec
Shaman Kyron composes, performs and produced electronica under the
label Black Note Music and is currently enjoying heavy rotation on
Amsterdam airwaves.
