digital TV to dvd recorder

Hello, I have a 28 inch samsung TV with buit in Freeview - Is it possible to
record freeview to a dvd recorder using scart from the TV?

since last week!

You probably have a timer facility so that you can record digital, and watch
analogue or put the TV to standby
