Beavis and Butthead

(M-Thurs, 7pm EST)? Oh the glory! For the uninitiated, Beavis and
Butthead is a cartoon about two high school idiots drawn in somewhat poor
(but also somewhat fitting) animation. The show is split into two parts,
one is them watching videos and making crude comments about them (sort of
like Bill and Ted meet Mystery Science Theatre 3000 with a dose of
sophomoric idioicy) and actual "adventures" for lack of a better word. I
don't know how many episodes there are, but last night (Wed 6/3) they ran
them from 7-10pm (I think they ran it at 7:30...I missed it :( Anyway,
these "adventures" include:
- Feigning sickness at a local hospital to get some medicine so they
can get a buzz. Instead they get a shot ("What? No cherry flavored
medicine?")
- Blowing up a convenience store, robbing it, and going to the local
drive in (sitting on the ground, holding the speakers to their ears).
- Going to a carnival to see the "rubber band" lady.
- Getting high painting (from the thinner) painting for Mr.
Anderson. This results in mucho graffiti on the house, painting the cat,
stealing the lawnmower.
- Getting a "baby" for the sex-ed class. The baby is a bag of sugar
with a diaper on it. They're told that if ANYTHING happens to this
"baby", they fail the course. They bring it swiming in a river (Beavis:
"I'm gonna slap you like a red-headed step-child!").
- Working for a Burger World (ala McDonalds). Frying a dead rat and
bugs along with the fries and giving it to Mr. Anderson (continuity! "Hey,
aren't you the kids that painted my cat last week?" Butthead: "Huh huh. No,
those were different kids.")
And along the way there are fun little miscellanaries like Beavis
cutting off Butthead's finger with a chainsaw, Butthead slapping Beavis's
face into the fryer. Both of them playing in the hot fry grease.
Beavis and Butthead - I nominate them as the Official Alt.Tasteless cartoon!
