coach, restauranteur, political candidate, frequent compatriot of
Howard Stern and NYC radio talk show host. He was 95, and his death
will most likely be eclipsed by that of Coretta Scott King.

I was surprised he lasted this long, after they took off his leg two and a half years ago.
It wasn't what he went in for, he developed a blood clot after an operation. You have to
hand it to hospitals, they do their best to cull the herd, unless there's a profit to be made
in keeping the animals alive. They should call them The Department of Population
Management.

CNN would fuck up predicting the sunrise. They state his age as 83 and
in the body of the story talk about him running for office just before
his 90th birthday.
These are the same chowderheads who identified a cadaver dog locating
victims as a "wild dog eating dead bodies" in NOLA during the festival
of the winds a while back.

But Wikipedia is sticking to 1910:
"At the time of his death, many sources including Lewis' son gave his year
of birth as 1923. Lewis' own admission, school leaving records, and various

And since it's unlikely that a 4 year-old was a member of the Sacco and
Vanzetti Defence Committee, 95 is the most likely age.

If he were 82, that would have made him 42 when The Munsters was
filmed. Sure looked somewhat older than that to me.
