Angry red ants
A man forced his genitals into a red ants’ nest before collapsing in
agony in harrowing footage circulating on the internet - prompting a
doctor to issue an urgent warning amid concerns others may also
attempt the eye-watering penis enlargement trick.

In the clip, which is too disturbing to share, the man opts for a
drastic strategy in an apparent bid to 'treat his erectile
dysfunction', thrusting his penis and testicles into a nest of red
weaver ants at his home.

Unable to bear the stinging, he washed the insects off with water -
only to repeat the procedure and collapse in pain after the second
attempt.

The do-it-yourself hack resulted in an appalling injury which left him
with swollen blisters - although the end result did result in a
slightly enlarged member as a result of the swelling.

Speaking to local media, Dr Soranai Onwan, a doctor at the Health Me
Clinic in Chiang Mai province, Thailand, warned the public not to
mimic the dangerous treatment.

He said: “During an erection, the male genitalia triggers the brain to
release neurotransmitters that cause the arteries to dilate and
increase blood flow to the penis, causing it to expand.

“But the act shown in the videos was not correct and is ineffective.”

He explained: “To treat erectile dysfunction, it is important to
assess the underlying causes for each patient, such as abnormalities
in the blood vessel, neural system, hormones, or mental health, and
provide appropriate treatment accordingly.

“Patients should consult medical professionals if they are
experiencing severe erectile dysfunction to receive safer and more
effective treatments.

“There are various treatment options available, including medication,
vacuum devices, shockwave therapy, and surgery. But a proper diagnosis
must be made first to find the most suitable approach.”

The ant bite penis enlargement could potentially cause infections or
trigger severe allergies that may lead to death, Dr Onwan warned.

Other unfortunate men in Southeast Asia have previously dabbled in
penis enhancements - with disastrous results.

In 2021, Nai Saw, 42, from Burma, took his own life after a botched
penis enlargement procedure in Thailand.
