People are getting bent out of shape worrying about the Chinese buying
billions of dollars of real estate and property in the United States.
Not to worry- If the Chinese try to put the squeeze on American
agriculture or worse, Eminent Domain refers to the power of the
government to seize private property for public (that is, government)
use and disposition, and provide "just compensation" to the property
owners. In general the government decides what is "just compensation",
which in the case of the Communist Chinese could be about 10 cents an
acre.
