I've got just a bit of info at the moment. I've got some Dali experts I
can write to and see if I can find out some more.

What I currently have on-hand is that the decks were created in the
late-70's early-80's. They're a paste-up of images from his earlier
works, produced by his studios. Dali then signed each of the cards.
There were originally 5,000 decks produced. Half of the original
printing went to a museum in Spain for distribution which was located
near the D'art Publishers, and the other portion was sold to the Dali
distributor for the U.S. I'm fortunate to have access to several decks
from the original printing, if I may slip in that little sales blurb.

I don't know where the originals are, now. I'll see if I can find out.

Unsolicited consumer testimonial:
The Dali Tarot may not be for everyone. Some of the images look like
the artist didn't think about them too hard or spend much time working
on them. But, the production of these cards is exquisite, there are only
5,000 of the decks on the planet, and Dali is dead.
dt king's price on the Dali Universal Tarot is aobut 30% less than
suggested retail.

On a similar note . . .
Anyone got a copy of Rachael Pollack's book on the Dali Tarot or know
where to find one?

Bogie,

Powel's had 4 copies last time I looked. They are used and they are not
cheap. Search on Rachel Pollack, or Dali. If You search on Tarot it will
take longer. Their URL is: http://www.powells.com/
