daburu, pakuru, "XXX-no nori-dane"

i have found in my Sanseido gairaigo dictionary that daburu
did come from English "double".


kita morio's "doktor manbou senshunki" p.29 notes that pakuru
came from German "packen". if you find information about
the origin in a dictionary, please post it here.


i wrote,

this was only a guess.

that's true with any analogical/metaphorical expression.

i think warunori also comes from the same source.
