Oregon Scientific Gone Bankrupt?

Hi:

Has anyone been able to contact OS, either by phone or
email, within the past couple of weeks. I have sent
a couple of emails - no replies. I have attempted to
reach them by phone several times - each time, given
music during an average 20 minute wait, and then click...
the line is disconnected.

Are they still in business? I don't want to buy
one of their weather stations, only to find that
I can't get support for it in the future.

Buy a Davis Instruments station...solid company with great support. I
recently bought a Weather Wizard II from Weather Warehouse. The console went
blank almost immediately. I called (immediate response from a human being)
and was sent a new console and AC/DC power supply after a couple of
questions. I didn't even have to send the defective equipment (which turned
out to be the converter) until after the new one arrived!! My station is
wireless and solar-powered and works great.
BTW, I don't work for Davis or Weather Warehouse.
