Whenever I find a ID argumentor, I keep asking them to consider the
possibility that there is no order in the cosmos anywhere, but that natural
selection and evolution has caused us to impose patterns on everything
because pattern imposition was needed to survive.
If they are seeing patterns where there are none, then the evolution
succeeded,
and the need to see a creator who wired them to see patterns is just - what
is that word that Gould used from architecture, spandrel - an unnecessary
design flaw in the "pattern seeing gene" that other wise allowed us as
humans to survive and use pattern making ability to solve problems and build
things.
