That would never do me, I'm on 50Mbit fibre, unlimited per month, no traffic shaping. I can use P2P at 50Mbit!

A recent study found that the average Aussie walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found that Aussies drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
That means that, on average, Aussies get about 41 miles to the gallon!

I can only see 20MB on there and I think I'm going to get it. No point
changing the phone over at ᅵ14.50 pm it's similar to BT except no free
evening calls.

Is that because of your particular line? I'm actually on "up to 76MBit". It was 40 when I got it a year and a half ago, and it's increased slowly to 50.

Or maybe your exchange has different equipment.

I pay a year in advance it's a lot less.

You're on Unlimited Fibre Extra ᅵ26 pm with phone, not bad, cheaper
than what I'm paying now for Plusnet Extra and BT. I'm asking them if I
can have it.

As long as there are green cabinets sprouting in your area, yes. Fibre is fucking amazing. And yes I have maxed it out for 24 hours for a whole week.

Oh by the way, get ultrasurf and peerblock if you use p2p. Makes you invisible to the copyright morons in the USA. Not that plusnet do much if you don't have them. They just advised me to make sure my wireless was secure on both occasions. I suppose eventually they might get annoyed.

There's a green cabinet across the street and I know they laid BT
cables last year.

I have never had a complaint from Plusnet, maybe cos I'm on slow
speeds.

You might get more than me then. My cabinet is 0.4 miles away along roads (which I assume the line follows). Google Earth has a path tracing function that will tell you.

Probably, I only got one when I left the fibre running non stop for a whole month. It would obviously increase the chances of me being grassed on.

I only pay about ᅵ19 for my *unlimited* broadband and that's including
the phone rental. No free calls though.

I get 33 hours of calls per month included with my phone contract, so I
use that for phone calls and the phone contract is ᅵ20 per month with
unlimited broadband data usage. 5000 texts also included for no extra.
Phone company is THREE.

You have to be in a decent reception area. I've never found anywhere that a mobile phone has full signal. You're near London. Preston might be ok.

Then you could have got it even cheaper. You need to go to the "cancellations and downgrades" department, they have offers the other guys don't (which I think ius a fucking dispicable way to do business. I'd never be a Sky customer myself after I saw the way they do things.

I can usually get enough to make a phonecall or send a text, but the voice breaks up sometimes, and internet would never go anything like as fast as you get.

I should, especially if it's an INCREASED tariff. I get paid for giving them a customer in the first place.

Their free ones have stopped if you read a few paragraphs down.
The cheapest I can find is £5.5K for 4kW (16 panels). http://greenenergynationwide.co.uk
Not the one I was going to use, which I'm going to phone and cancel tomorrow - they wanted £10.9K!

That's a first for Sky, they usually charge you for a channel, then you STILL get ads. TV License, Sky sub, AND ads, fucking ridiculous.

Yes, I read that further down but there are others. I see ads for free
solar panels all the time on buses and vans. Check your local council
first because there is a government scheme running in some areas and if
they're not free for you then may be hugely discounted with free
fitting etc.

Well, we'll wait and see. I noticed that their Member Centre prices and

that.

Oh, and try asking on Freegle. Worth a shot but you're probably banned

Freegle?!? Yeah someone would give those away.

And no I'm not banned, I've used it loads (in both directions).

Say you're leaving. When I had no internet for the weekend due to BT's stupidity (an engineer fixing someone else fucked up mine at the exchange), I asked for a free month "as I'd been considering other providers and I'd appreciate some good customer service". They gave me a free month.

Yes I know what it is, it just seemed odd to ask for solar panels on there. I've had a free dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, vacuum cleaner, sofa, several brass lights, and about 30 other things off there.

And freecycle. I dunno why there are two, I just use both.

Those things I take and place on Ebay. Someone gave away £80 of genuine Canon ink because their printer had broken. I just told them I had an identical printer :-)

I thought all the free stuff had gone, because the government tariff has halved and the installation company can no longer recoup the cost from that. If there is free stuff left it's if you're on benefits. My neighbour got gas installed to his flat for free because the tenant is on benefits. Saved him £1000.

Try something like this too:

There is usually a buy sell swap group for most towns. Just ask for the
panels and there might be some advice.

I doubt it'd get me anywhere. The government halved the feed in tariff. A company would not make a profit giving you them free.

The freegle user didn't need them and wanted them to go to someone who needed them. The person I sold them to needed them.
