Some drooling idiot out there decided it would be a good thing to
unleash on the world a hideous botch that claims to be spam-reporting
software. Said abortion loves to send out messages with the
meaningless subject header "abuse complaint" (no shit, Sherlock, why
else would you be mailing to an abuse mailbox?). In and of itself,
that would be tolerable. However, what is worse, said botch is under
the mistaken impression that it knows how to find and "report" URLs
referenced in HTML spam.

Guess what URL appears in 99% of all Microsoft-created HTML....

Now, guess whose network that URL is served from.

This is not a request for UI as I have no desire to become an
involuntary guest of Uncle Sam for 20 to life.

His name is legion. To say nothing of admins[1] who consider it
appropriate to bounce spam and viruses to forged addresses, never
comprehending that those bounces are themselves spam.

[1] Wasn't there a recent discussion of a brain-dead prgram from IBM
called "FairUCE"?

You mean you *don't* report Spamcop "reports" as spam?

At one point, I was operating my own DNSBL that contained the mail
servers of the more incompetent antispam weenies. And yes, Spamcop had
the "honour" of being the first entry.
