I am a systems and network administrator for a small consulting firm. I have
set up and currently manage our entire network as well as our Internet domain
and Internet servers. The computer department has a total staff of one - me.
Anyway, when talking to a friend of mine who was just hired to set up a local
network for a small company, he commented that I should be paid a lot more
than I am being paid (he doesn't know how much I make, but has made an
educated guess). Now, I had been thinking this for a while now, but his
comment has prompted me to research what other Network admins are being paid.
I would really like to know if I am being fairly compensated for my services
here. I thank you in advance for any info you can provide me, and I apologize
for any breach of netiquette I may have committed.

Well, Erich, are you expecting us to make an educated guess as well?
How about you tell us how much you make, then we tell you if you are getting fairly compensated?
