Looks like sold for $769.99.
Not that we are privy to ebaY buyer's identities, but is anyone who is
willing to admit it that and known to this group directly or
indirectly indicating where these infrequently sold machines are
going? Is one of us a collector buying up some pieces, or is this a
myster? Or is it so random that there really isn't a pattern?
And of course, I am sure I am not alone in who the seller was as
well. Most of the people I know would never sell their stuff unless
quite a lot of money was involved. Someone was quoted as saying he
would give up the machine for no less than its original purchase price
[not necesarily adjusted for inflation].
I would hope that this is just one collector selling to another. And
if so, perhaps this group acting as a clearing house is more
appropriate than ebaY? [Not that we have any influence per se!]
