hello everyone ,I am in the process of building
a simple pdp8/e using a harris/intersil
microprocessor (I gess I am not the first one),as described in the the
im6100
cmos family sampler ,but only the processor+4k rams+uart,I already have most
of the necessary parts(processors, rams, uart),but I need a few informations :
*about the 6100 and the dx bus ,it seems thas the order of bits is reversed
:dx0 is bits 12
etc to dx11 = bit0 of address and data ,can you confirm?
*is there a source of the im6101 PIE ,I found none ,of course the tty
console can be build using discrete circuits as described in th intercept
manual ,but the im6101 is easy to usewith the 6402.
*I have found in one of my boxes cmos rams from harris labeled hm3-65768m-5
,theses are 4k*4bits static rams ,they would be very useful to 'fill' the
entire 12 bits addressing space of the 6100 microprocessor with only 3
chips,I need the pin configuration.
thanks very much to everyone ,best regards
