MR8-EC useless?

I have a couple MR8-EC, is it safe to assume they are useless &
undesirable if you have enough memory? From reading CJL it looks like
the code on them is poorly written and it's better to use the system
handler. Although they can boot the system, I do have an MI8 also.

I think so. I have two, too, I think...

You could change them...
A nice idea would be to have a pluggable binloader for resurrection/test
purposes... :-)
