If memory serves, it is something like this ...
MOU DUn:/FOR ! Mount the floppy foreign
RUN $VMR
Enter filename: BRUSYS.SYS
VMR> SAV DUn:BRUSYS
VMR> ^Z
DMO DUn:
Same to create a bootable TK50 ... substitute MUn: for DUn:
Stuart
No, Stuart, you haven't lost your mind. My apologies to all for the confusion due
to what I didn't say, that the only floppies we have are 8" RX02s. It seemed
obvious to me! 8-)
We have gone from a definitely old-fashioned system (RD53/RQDX3, two 8" floppies,
and a TK50 tape) one step towards a more modern system (1.06 GB SCSI disk,
CQD-220 controller, two 8" floppies, and a TK50 tape.
We attempted to increase the memory by 256K (two memory boards) but seem to be
having either power supply loading problems (Netcom BA-23 box) or bus fan-out
problems. We also want to be able to install an Emulux TC02 to run a 9 track
tape, so there's more investigation on that to come.
Our next step toward the future will be to install a SCSI magneto-optical in our
StorageWorks BA-350 box. Slowly we'll get there ...

Yes, your memory does serve, Stuart. It works like a champ!
Thank you for your help.
Craig
Oops. I forgot to mention that I had to SET /UIC=[1,51] before VMR could
find BRUSYS.STB, but once that is done, it does work like a champ.

Still applies.
