SIMH Ethernet support

Hi all,

Trying to use Ethernet support on the VAX simulator. When I do "Attach
XQ0 eth0", I get 'command not allowed'

Using Slackware 8.1, 3Com etherlink.

Anyone seen this?

I'll assume you are on a *nix machine.

When you built it, did you use 'makefile' or 'makefile_ether'?
You need to use 'make -f makefile-ether' to choose the right one.
This is the most likely cause.

Are you running as root? The network library 'libpcap'
requires you to run as 'root' in order for the network
stuff to work.
