Using tap device for KLH10 in Linux

On the 13 April 2007, Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert sent a patch to make KLH10
uses a tap device with NetBSD (message id:
pan.2007.04...@falu.nl). In the following discussion, Eric Smith
wrote that something similar should be possible with Linux.

Before trying to do it myself, I wanted to know if someone did the
adaptation.

My version is http://home.comcast.net/~mmcm/klh10/tuntap.patch.
