I have a problem with my pc I need help with. When installing software it
is very slow then I get an error writing to drive C:
It has ECS K7VZA 3.0 motherboard.
I've tried different hard drives, ide cables and both primary and secondary
ide controllers. I have also tried a promise ide controller card and still
have the same problem.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking it has to be the motherboard.

Thanks
Jim

I presume you've verified that the drive is OK?
