When the PPro200N was released, the largest commonly available SIMMs were
32meg. With four memory slots, you could max out at 128 meg.
I was wondering what would happen if you put 64meg SIMMs in these slots. If the
addressing lines can see them, you could go to 256 meg.
Has anyone tried this?
(Note: Infoworld shows the street price for 72-pin 64meg EDO SIMMS at a low of
$116.)
