Dell Sale told me Dell Monitor has 3 year warrenty, unit will be
exchanged if it breaks down during warrenty period.
Did anyone have experiences in these services? Would Dell replace a
refurbished unit or a brand new unit? Finally, who will do the local
services after warrenty expires?

Thank You

New within 30 days of invoice.
Refurb if outside 30 days. Their theory is you're sending us a used one back
so we'll send you a used.

New (if you specify) within first 30 days, refurbished after that
(though the replacement would have at least as much warranty as the
original had left.

I went through a couple of monitors last year and in my case Dell paid
all the shippping (the errors were on their side) and the service (other
than ordering errors was fine.

The local service could be anyone you chose. There is nothing unique
about Dell monitors (basically rebadged retail models). Typically any TV
repair shop could handle the repairs.

After the warranty expires, you're completely on your own with regard to
Dell monitors. Only thing they'll do for you is sell you a new one.

Well, if you renew your warranty, aren't you re-fully warranted?

That's _if_ you renew.
