Latitude memory? (type,source,prices??)

I have a Latitude XP450C (laptop),
and want more RAM (only have 8M to run X & Linux).

What is the type called (DIMM?),
what speed is sufficient,
who are the vendors (any others besides Dell?),
what are reasonable prices?
