DVD on a 4660

I am having trouble getting my DVD player to run on my 4660. When I
open the application and hit the Select Drive button it indicates it
is going to my CD drive (D:) but when I then hit the "Load Menu "
Button, it opens up the Zoran directory in Program Files Directory.
No matter what I try clicking on I get the message,

"MPEGVIDEO Device could not be opened. Abort!
Any assistance would be appreciated, though if you are going to tell
me to buy a "real DVD player" save your effort. You will be flamed.
