Upgrade Aspire 1862S

I want to upgrade my Aspire. It's an AMD K6-3D-2 300 MHz. I've increased
the memory already. Can I install a faster processor? Any information is
appreciated.

Janet, first you might look in Control Panel for *Hardware
Information*,which will list your mobo and potential upgrades. If you
don't have that, you could try the Acer UK website, and get the info
you need by providing your model# etc.

Thank you. I searched all over and found all the system specs but couldn't
find anything about upgrading the processor so I dropped Tech Support a
note.
