I thinks news is fine - or this is a bit pointless. :)
From what I can tell its because I had Thor configured to deal with smtp,
but as I understand it, Demon's adsl is pop3 e-mail only, so I'm asking
how do I config Thor back to being just pop3 and not smtp?
Assuming I'm not barking in the wrong rainforest?
All the best,
Angus Manwaring. (for e-mail remove ANTISPEM)
I need your memories for the Amiga Games Database: A collection of Amiga
Game reviews by Amiga players http://www.angusm.demon.co.uk/AGDB/AGDB.html

Excellent question young fellow, and I may I take the ooportunity of
saying how brilliantly you phrased it.
:)
Right, I think I've got this sorted ny using the pop3.demon address as the
collection address and the post.demon as the dispatch address.
...I think.
Is there a cool way I can do a DO ALL with Thor from the Workbench,
ideally from Toolsdemon?
P.S.
and......... is it possible to have a spam filter involved with pop3, like
Phil Stoke's Getmail?

Good call. Thanks for the response.

Darn, there's always somebody wanting to cause further confusion, isn't
there? :(
