The State Board of Elections decided today to adopt a
ban on clothing, including buttons and hats that directly
endorse a candidate or issue.
The ban is effective within 40 feet of a polling place.
At first we thought: This can't be right. Probably there's supposed to be a
comma after "hats." But no, the headline on the story is "State Board Agrees
With Clothing Ban." Apparently Virginians won't be allowed to vote unless they
are starkers.
Oh, in case you're wondering, the polls clothe at 7 p.m.

It is simply breathtaking to watch the glee and abandon with which
the liberal media and the Angry Left have been attempting to turn
our military victory in Iraq into a second Vietnam quagmire. Too bad
for them, it's failing.
