Well I think you figured I would respond on this one. I have replied
to the question before and I will for one final time. If kissing my
ass is your desire then you may have that priviledge. Once and for
all, in the film "Surfer Blue" the look-alike that is pictured is NOT
GARY WILDE PERIOD! The film is dated at 1983 and features Brett
Chandler, Jack Steele, Justin, Sparky, Mitch, Travis and Dennis. Many
of these boys worked for Larry Bronco several times and all this stuff
is based out of California. Gary Wilde was in NY and there's no
evidence he ever made it out there. These are all California surfer
types and the look-alike for Gary is no different. I will give Bronco
a lot of credit for coming up with a boy that looks so close to Gary
but close ain't no cigar.
Now the root of where this all stems from are the photo shoots of Gary
on the couch. They were widely available in NY at the time, as were
the other couchboys, and i'm sure made their way to California and
caught the attention of Larry Bronco and others. The film "Kips
Casting Couch" starring Kip Noll dates later than Surfer Blue and
features the real Gary Wilde. He appears about 18 or so in that film
and his body had changed. He'd gained some weight and was a bit pear
shaped--not like the skinny kid in Surfer Blue. And he is billed as
Gary Wilde in the film, although it's a cheap production and they
misspelled his name. The dialog is mostly unscripted but, in the sex
scene between Gary and Kip, even Kip reveals the truth. In an aside
he says to Gary "Heck, i wanted you along time ago--Hell, years ago!"
Obviously he'd seen the couchboy shots as had so many people.
Now you would say "well Kip made all his films in California so Gary
must have gone there." Not correct. Kips Casting Couch was filmed in
NY. Kip went there to perform in live stage shows at the time as he
did often. You can even see him on a billboard for a NY theatre at
the opening of the film. It's my understanding that many of the
popular porn actors did this at the time.
Finally, Gary did make 4 videos--all as rare as hen's teeth. "Kip's
Casting Couch, Tommy Wilde and Friends, The Punishment of Gary Wilde"
and one other that escapes me but it was NOT "Surfer Blue." I hope
this helps to straighten out this matter.
