That's a great idea actually. Florida wouldn't mind donating a few dozen to get things started.

The American crocodile is shy around humans and prefers saltwater. Nile
crocodiles are a freshwater species and aren't fussy about the menu if you
wanted to stock the Rio Grande.

I hear there are fresh water sharks in Lake Titicaca. They might thrive
in the Rio Grande.
