I've come here to try to get some professional GPS type discussion.
sci.geo.satnav is full of people with little tools they hold in their
hand, expecting to get cemtimetric measurements.

anyone else feel like this?

Try also posting to sci.engr.surveying . Thats where most of the surveyors
hang out untill this group becomes better known.
