My wife and I are executors for my wife's mother's estate and
are in the process of selling her one bedroom fifth floor flat in
a twelve floor tower block in Enfield, London, UK.
We have discovered that mortgage lenders object to lending
to prospective purchasers because the building is of
'weighted construction'. We are intrigued as to what this means
and so far have been unable to find out. Can anyone help?
