For GPS applications Sokkia used slightly different hardware: the bottom
port connector is a tough Fischer instead of the standard Hirose.
Since the GPS receiver supplies power to the SDR33 unit, the standard
delivery is with alkaline batteries.
There are two ways of connecting a charger:
1. unscrew the bottom cap (as you would with the standard SDR33) and plug
the charger in as always. This method is only usable for occasional usage,
e.g. when installing new software.
2. Use the new download cable, which has got a separate connector for the
standard charger.
