I agree. But I'm not satisfied with photos anymore. I think someone better
invent a perception recorder pretty soon. And then the interesting talentless
people will become artists. Because art is life and life is art. And all the sad
wankers with their flittering digits and their eye as a knife will break down in
one giant group nervous breakdown. And the museums will look like living rooms.
And Frank Gehry won't get anymore jobs. And Paulie Shore will seem funnier. And
FM stereo simulcasts will seem quaint.
It will take some time to convert the old movies into the new perception format
but makeup will also become obsolete so casting won't be as hard. Digital
reconstruction will be banned of course, once the masses become attenuated with
this new art. Maybe some hacks will hide out in jungles creatig speculative
fiction, but their efforts will be spurned once that clip of Grandma X watching
the candy wrapper scrape across her kitchen table gets good distribution.
